Once the prized vineyard of Len Evans, a pioneer of modern Australian wine, Leogate Estate has flourished under the custodianship of Bill and Vicki Widin since 2007. From this historic Pokolbin vineyard, the estate has earned international acclaim and continues to be recognised with James Halliday’s coveted Red 5-Star Winery rating for 15 consecutive years. The estate offers a complete luxury experience, featuring an elegant cellar door, boutique villa accommodation and the Gatehouse threebedroom cottage, along with conference room facilities.

2024 Brokenback Semillon

This trophy‑winning white bursts with notes of white peach and melon, delivered with generous power, mouth‑watering acidity, and a fine mineral crunch. Grown on well-drained sandy loam soils the naturally low crop yields deliver excellent concentration of fruit flavour. Pale straw in colour with green-tinged hues, the wine opens with a lifted, fresh lemon blossom aroma.

2022 Brokenback Chardonnay

Our Chardonnay is grown on well-drained sandy loam soils in our Pokolbin vineyard. Low crop yields deliver excellent concentration of fruit flavour. Pale straw-yellow in appearance, the wine opens with subtle notes of green apple, pear and white peach. A delicate viscosity carries lively energy across the palate, with lime, pear and a hint of grapefruit leading into fresh, balanced acidity on the finish.
