Established in 1996, Margan is planted on the ancient volcanic soils of Broke Fordwich, the first Hunter Valley region certified with Sustainable Winegrowing Australia. With 100 hectares of estate vineyards and a hands-on approach to farming and winemaking, we craft wines that reflect purity, regional character and a genuine sense of place.
White peach, limestone and grapefruit lead the way, followed by nectarine, lemon pith and lime zest. Subtle oak sits quietly in the background, while bright natural acidity brings balance, depth and a long, elegant finish.
A bright, savoury and textural wine with an elegant core of stone fruits and spiced bramble. The palate is textured with amaro notes and a gentle tannic grip and the finish is crisp and dry
Blackcurrant and cherry jump from the glass, with vanilla bean and Chinese five-spice adding savoury complexity. The palate is rich and earthy, with dark chocolate and spiced fruit framed by vibrant young tannins that will soften beautifully with time.
